Last year I bought a hangar so I could have a place to assemble the RV-14A that I'm building. My wife made a good point. "David, how are you going to build your wings in a room full of plane parts?"
Anyway the hangar came with a plane that last flew four years ago for 30 minutes?

Not sure why the flight was so short but I'm going to guess it wasn't fun. For starters the engine mounts were absolutely toast. That alone leads to lots and lots of engine vibration and makes you question your decision to trust thus flying beer can with your life.
From the outside the plane looks great👍
From the inside... NOT SO MUCH! 😡
Nearly all of the interior plastic was so brittle you could crack it with a bump and it was almost all cracked. The entire interior needed to be redone.
I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it's been a journey to say the least.
Off to the airport to finish up.

Note: I had an Epiphany last night. Conservatives want to debate and not hate whereas the Left (not to be confused with Liberals) would rather hate than debate. Diversity of thought is not a bad thing. Being able to discuss what's going on in the world without being labeled Pro-Nazi and canceled should be a given but that's not what's going on within our politics. 😢 I didn't and still don't wish ill health upon President Biden. How many on the far Left can say that of Donald Trump?
